Welcome

Community service has been a trademark at Calvary Christian School and is a big part of the school’s mission of service and leadership. We know when young people take on community service projects they benefit greatly from their volunteer work, gaining memorable experiences, and building unique character traits.

All of Calvary’s students volunteer and gain a type of growth that some cannot get anywhere else. Students are given the opportunity to see this life from a variety of different angles, giving them, at the end of the day, a sense of humility for their own lives. With all the opportunities available to volunteer, a person can find their way into something that could change not just their life, but also the life of another.

We have worked diligently with students, parents, faculty, staff and community partners to develop a community service program that provides the most well-rounded educational experiences possible for all of our students.  Excellence, pursing Christian values, service and leadership serve as the building blocks of our school philosophy. At CCS, we want our students to take full advantage of every resource we offer them.

As a part of our community service activities, CCS students are taught to respect their community, use the resources that surround them and give back to the surrounding cities of the Pacific Palisades. Through community service, students realize the importance of volunteering time and energy for the benefit of others. We strive to show God’s love and His creation by serving others.

Enjoy!
