From attendance at student’s activities and sports outside of school, to calls and notes of encouragement, teachers and administrators show that they care on a continual basis.
All of our classroom teachers hold California Teaching Credentials, and many have advanced degrees, including several with Masters degrees and Reading Specialist credentials. TERESA ROBERSON
Head of School
Teresa Roberson is in her eleventh year as Head of Calvary Christian School. She received her M.A. in Administration and Supervision form California State University, Stanislaus in 1988 and her B.S. in Education from Oklahoma Christian University in 1969. She holds the California Professional Administrative Service Credential and the California Standard Elementary Life Credential. In 1997, Teresa was named the Elementary Principal of the Year for Region 7 by the Association of California School Administrators.

Chris Rutz received his B.A. in History from the University of Minnesota, his B.A. in Secondary Education from Western Oregon University, and his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon. Chris is in his fifth year as Assistant Head.

Susie Curran received an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Santa Monica College. She completed additional coursework in Early Childhood Development through UCLA extension. She has been at Calvary Christian School since 1989 and the Preschool Director since 1997.
